Check out our program calendar to see the many classes being offered on the various technologies. Can't make one of the classes, need help on something that is not being offered in a class? Call the library at 635-5631 and ask for Nancy Howe who will arrange for you to meet with her or another librarian for one-on-one help.
Friends of the Library 2012-2013 Programs
The friends present programs on many interesting topics on the third Thursday of each month from September to May. All programs are held in the Community Room of the Baldwinsville Public Library on East Genesee Street, beginning at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served. A brief business meeting precedes the program. Donation is $1. Membership in Friends of the Baldwinsville Public Library, Inc. is $5 per year. All programs are open to the public. February- There is no exhibit in February as the art wall are being refurbished
March - Work by Students from Ray Middle and Durgee Junior High Schools
April - Work by Students from Elden, McNamara, Palmer, Reynolds and Van Buren Elementary Schools
May- Photographs accepted for entry in the High School Juried Photography Contest
Students in grades 9 to 12 who live in the Baldwinsville School District are eligible to enter the contest. Details about entering the contest can be found on the TEEN SERVICES page.
The Baldwinsville Community Art Gallery is located in the center of the Baldwinsville Public Library and features a different artist or group of artists each month. People interested in exhibiting should submit examples of their work in the form of slides, photographs or actual pieces of art to Meg Van Patten, at the library. Show are scheduled based on the library exhibit policy.
