NY Our newest collection additions include two birding backpacks provided by New York State and a bird watching kit assembled by BPL! These kits are great to borrow if you are interested in getting into birding before you buy your own equipment. Birding is a great activity to do with family and friends and the DEC has an information page about birding locations, resources, and a contest going on now through Fall 2026! Visit the Collections page for all the details.
